Our conviction is simple: "We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves."
This belief is the foundation of everything H.E.A.L., Inc. does. We believe that strength — whether it comes in the form of resources, opportunity, or privilege — carries with it a responsibility to lift others up. It is not something to be kept for ourselves, but something to be shared with those who need it most.
Guided by this conviction, our work is centered on two communities close to our hearts: orphans in Liberia, West Africa, and youth in under-served communities across Atlanta, Georgia and its surrounding areas. Though separated by an ocean, these communities share the same fundamental needs — access to education, safe environments, basic necessities, and the belief that a better future is possible for them.
In Liberia, we work to rebuild what decades of civil conflict took away — clean water, safe homes, education, and hope. In Atlanta, we work with organizations that support refugee to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to thrive, not just survive.

We carry out this mission through two core programs:
H.E.A.L EDUCATES
Provides educational resources and scholarships to orphans and underprivileged children in communities with the greatest need — opening doors to literacy, learning, and a future built on opportunity.
H.E.A.L CARES
Provides basic necessities, safe drinking water, healthcare, and a healthy living environment to underprivileged children facing dire circumstances — meeting their most fundamental needs so they can grow, learn, and thrive.
