Our inaugural project is to build a 15 room school, which will house our “first learning center” at the Liberian Christian Orphanage located in Careysburg, Liberia, West Africa. This school will impact the lives of over 200 children within this community.
By building this school, we would create a conducive environment for the orphans to live and learn. The future outcome of the school would be the increase in literacy rate by 5% the first school year and 10% every other year using Liberia’ average literacy rate of 51% as a baseline. We also look forward to increasing reading proficiency and developing math skills, self-reliance and the attainment of high self-esteem.
To accomplish this feat, we would need your support in raising $75,000. The funding would accomplish our goal of renovating the orphanage and building the school. This effort will begin our quest to eliminating illiteracy. Our journey starts now! Please help us give hope to these orphans and children in the community. Your support would make the vision of a kind world much more possible.
