Nicole Etheridge works for CNN based in the network’s world headquarters Atlanta, Georgia.   As part of the CNN HR team, she provides strategic advice on a variety of employment matters.

Prior to CNN, she spent 10 years as an International Human Resources Business Partner with CARE. In this role, she partnered with employees in Africa and the Middle East.  This experiencegave her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life one program at a time.

Nicole graduated cum laude from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

A Cape Verdean from Rhode Island, she currently resides in Atlanta with her husband, James Jr. and their son, James III.  She enjoys spending time with family & friends, volunteering with youth sports, mentoring young girls, and traveling.

Veda Barrett is the president of Professor B Math.  A math contextual teaching methodology that has reach every state in the union and as positively impacted the learning of math for thousands of children.

With more than 2 decades of women’s ministry under her belt, Veda is doing what she loves best, mentoring women in her own straight-forward and humorous way.

Veda believes in the awesomeness of women to impact their world.  She has 2 sons and 2 grandchildren, and resides in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

Tara Dennis serves as Senior Manager, Member Engagement & Development at the Greater Houston partnership.

Tara’s background includes over 21 years’ experience primarily in operations, marketing and project management.  A visit to Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics convinced her to make Atlanta her new home and she has served its needs well. She moved back to Houston, Texas to continue who work in non-profit.  She is a proud alumnus of Texas A&M University and recently went back to obtain her Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) at the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University.  She is a member of the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church and serves the community in various board appointment capacities.  Of particular mention is her role mentoring young ladies of metro Atlanta with the Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  In her leisure, she enjoys global travel, sampling new cuisines, tennis and philanthropic efforts.

Corey Bolt is the Regional Director, Client Services at AMN Healthcare. Corey brings years of professional experience in the Telecom, Financial and Professional Services industry with a focus on connecting people with the right mission and purpose. Corey is also a member of SIBF and has also been very involved in international mission based projects specifically serving in Central America. He has a passion for serving others and is always looking for passionate people to get involved at H.E.A.L, with their focus being to “Transform One Life at A Time” in the country of Liberia & to the city of Atlanta. Corey resides in Suwanee, GA with his wife Andrea & their three children.

Rev. Dr. Tar-U-Way Richard Allen Bright, Sr. serves as the Senior Pastor of Turner Chapel AME.  He maintains extensive pastoral, administrative and ministerial duties. Rev. Dr. Bright says his personal mission is easily summed up by the undeniable and unequivocal fact that he is no accident or coincidence in God’s cosmic order of things (Jeremiah 1:5Psalm 139:13-15). He is destined and uniquely positioned to make a difference where God has positioned him (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

Rev. Dr. Bright is an avid runner, enjoys working out daily, reading, dancing and playing with his two children. In his leisure time, Rev. Dr. Bright loves to play hymns on the organ. Rev. Dr. Bright’s joyous attitude is contagious. He never lacks a big smile or joyful laugh. Rev. Bright says his favorite bible verse is Psalm 27:4 because he strives to be like David – a worshipper that desires only one thing; to behold God’s beauty and dwell in the presence of God all the days of his life.

Rev. Dr. Bright is a proud native of Liberia, West Africa. He is the son of The Rev. Canon J. Jellico Bright (a retired Episcopal Priest) and Mrs. Eliatha K. Bright. Rev. Bright attended the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Bachelor of Theology Degree with honors. In 2001, he graduated with honors and awards with a Master of Divinity in Theology and Homiletics from the Turner Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2008, he received his Doctor of Ministry Degree also with honors from the ITC in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rev. Dr. Bright is married to the beautiful Mrs. Retta “Sugarpea” Bright and they are the proud parents of Tar-U-Way Jr. and lovely, TaRetta Melody.
